- Jharkhand Health Department has started recruitment for the posts of field workers. Competitive Examination-2024 will be conducted by Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) for these posts. - Government jobs are available for the recruitment of 510 field workers in the Health Department. Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) will conduct the Jharkhand Field Worker Appointment Competitive Examination-2024 for this.
- After receiving the recommendation of the Health Department, the Commission released its advertisement on Friday. Interested candidates can apply online from 1 August to 31 August to appear in this examination. The examination fee can be paid and photo and signature can be uploaded till 2 September.
- The link for downloading the print out of the application form will remain open till September 4. The link for making changes in the online application will be available between September 6 and 8. The appointment to the post of health worker will be with a salary of Rs 18,000 to Rs 56,900. The candidate must have passed 10th/Matriculation by the last date of application.
- The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is prescribed by the Personnel Department, which will be calculated from August 1, 2024.
The upcoming exam will be computer-based (CBT) or based on OMR sheets. This competitive exam will be conducted in one stage (main exam), in which all the questions will be objective and multiple choice. Each correct answer will carry three marks, while each wrong answer will result in deduction of one mark.
The main exam will consist of three papers:
The first paper will be on language skills, the second paper on local and regional languages, and the third paper on general studies. It is mandatory to score at least 30% marks in each paper. The first paper will be in the qualifying stage and its marks will not be included in the merit list.
