Who is this scheme for?
This scheme is for all the consumers of Uttar Pradesh state who use 2 kW or less electricity.
What are the benefits of this scheme?
- Under this scheme, the previous electricity bills of consumers using 2 kW or less power will be completely waived off.
- The fresh electricity bill will be based on the minimum status.
- This scheme will be equally available to consumers in urban and rural areas of all districts of the state.
To be eligible for this scheme, the consumer must fulfil the following criteria:
- The consumer must be a citizen of Uttar Pradesh state.
- The consumer’s electricity connection should be for domestic use.
- The consumer should use 2 kW or less electricity.
- The consumer should not use AC, heater etc. of more than 1000 watts.
How to apply for this scheme?
- The consumer will have to apply through offline mode.
- Application forms can be obtained from the offices of the Electricity Department.
- Fill all the information asked in the application form carefully.
- Attach the required documents with the application form.
- Submit the application form to the nearest electricity department office.
